Moon Manifestation; Goal Setting in Cycles - Full Moon Libra

FULL MOON IN LIBRA 04/07/2020 - BALANCING WHAT IS BELOW THE SURFACE WITH WHAT IS ABOVE

GOAL SETTING IN MOON CYCLES

Goal setting is best done in cycles, starting at 5 years, 3 years, 1 year, quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly. In NEUROPEAK, we walk step-by-step through those processes. My personal favorite to layer in, and easiest to start, is leveraging the natural CYCLES OF THE MOON as a rhythmic guide and milestone map for projects and self-development. We can use the moon as a marker for taking big picture projects and cycling them into smaller, measurable action steps.

MOON SCIENCE

After the sun, the moon is the most influential body on our planet, affecting our daily rhythms, seasons, oceans, and reproductive cycles. The moon's gravity is responsible for approximately 56% of the our ocean's tidal energy, moving the vast bodies of water as it orbits our planet and is so strong that the earth's crust is stretched daily by these tidal effects. The ocean on the side of Earth facing the moon gets pulled toward the moon more than does the center of the planet creating a high tide. On the opposite side of the Earth, another high tide occurs, because the center of Earth is being pulled toward the moon more than is the ocean on the far side. The planet is essentially pulling away from the ocean with a negative force that effectively lifts the ocean away from the planet.

Our bodies range from 45%-75% water and our brains have a proven internal model of gravity. While the gravitational effects of the moon are much smaller within our bodies than the oceans, we still have the mechanisms and molecular structure to be affected.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA

This full moon in Libra on April 7th-8th, 2020 is also a supermoon, meaning it is at it's closest point to the earth in it's elliptical orbit and will appear bigger and brighter this go around, also with it's strongest gravitational pull.

Libra represents balance and harmony, the equalizer in the justice system. This moon also squares the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, bringing much more depth than a usual light-hearted and socially minded Libra lunation. Having a strong yearning for social connection is something we all have in common at the moment, yet with the boundaries currently in place globally, we are collectively feeling the burdens of distance. We are in this together, yet at the same time, alone.

While we yearn for togetherness, Pluto, the deity of the underworld, causes us to look beneath the surface at the things we store in the shadows of our consciousness. The only way out is through. It's time for us to take a courageous look at our habits, relationships, goals, and progress and truly look at what is holding us back WITHIN OURSELVES. The moon in Libra will assist in releasing those things that no longer serve us with balance and harmony, if, and only if, we truly examine them.

While a new moon is a perfect time to START a cycle, a full moon is best to examine your progress, celebrate your wins, adjust what isn't working and invoke the strong gravitational pull of the moon to move you forward to completion prior to the next new moon.

We are in a time where our normal distractions of the business of life are no longer an option. This time alone with ourselves gives distraction less accomplice and it's time to do our internal work, collectively. This is where the true 'togetherness' comes to play. When we heal ourselves internally, we heal the world around us. As we start to purify our shadows collectively, we'll come out of this a stronger community of consciousness.

So look at the projects you are working on, or dust off those inspired ideas that used to be 'somedays' and 'maybes' and take a look at what is truly holding you back, taking full responsibility for your own choices and wellbeing.

"You are entirely up to you."

I hope this new moon cleanses you of every fear, doubt, or insecurity that blinds you from your own greatness.

With Love,

Lynn
